New Year’s greetings to all! we pleased to announce that our County Executive Committee has prepared for our Taos County Biennial Organizational Convention (held as a Mass Meeting), which is open to all registered Republican voters. This is an excellent opportunity to actively support and participate in the Republican Party of Taos County.
The Taos County Central Committee (TCCC) is the governing body of the Taos County Republican Party (TCRP), and the State Central Committee (SCC) is the governing body of Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM). At the county level, we register voters, assist candidates in their campaign efforts, and recruit candidates for office. We encourage you to get involved at this level.
The Taos County Republican Precinct Caucuses, Central Committee Meeting and Biennial Organizational Convention will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Taos First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 220 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte, Taos, NM 87571.
You must register to attend this Biennial Convention. No late registrations will be permitted. Registration will be from 5:00 – 6:00 PM. No admittance after close of registration.
At this meeting several elections will occur:
- Elect a new County Central Committee;
- Recess for a meeting of the new County Central Committee to elect new county officers: County Chair, First Vice-Chair, Second Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. Members are elected to two-year terms.
- Elect a new county contingent of members to the State Central Committee; and,
- Any other proper business.
All individuals desiring to become a potential Officer or an RPNM State Central Committee Member are required to submit a self-nomination form. (See attached Self-Nomination Form). This signed form must be received by the RPTC no later than January 14, 2025, by 5:00 PM. You can:
